Description

Burnout is an increasingly common reality across many workplaces and professions. Faced with high demands, ongoing pressure, and complex organizational challenges, workers may experience chronic stress that, over time, can lead to professional exhaustion.
This course is designed to raise awareness of how burnout develops and provide practical tools to help recognize its warning signs, understand its underlying causes, and implement prevention strategies adapted to different workplace realities.

Based on recognized theoretical models and research findings, the course offers a structured and accessible approach combining explanatory content, real-world scenarios, and practical activities. It explores the interactions between job demands, available resources, and individual factors that can influence well-being and balance at work.

Assessment of learning

The knowledge assessment evaluates participants’ understanding of the key concepts covered throughout the course.
It consists of single-choice questions (true or false) and multiple-choice questions designed to confirm participants’ ability to recognize, understand, and prevent burnout.
Three workplace scenarios are also included in the assessment, allowing participants to apply their knowledge and demonstrate their understanding in realistic situations.

Assessment Objectives

The assessment is designed to evaluate the participant’s ability to:

  • Understand the process and progression of burnout
  • Identify its main components and potential consequences
  • Apply the “silos” strategy and self-assessment approach
  • Develop practical solutions for preventing burnout

Completion Requirements

To successfully complete the course, participants must:

  • Complete all course modules
  • Complete all required learning activities
  • Achieve a minimum score of 80% on the final assessment

Required materials

  • A computer or tablet with a reliable Internet connection. Use of a mobile phone is possible, but some content may not be fully optimized for small screens.
  • An up-to-date web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox recommended)
  • Speakers or headphones to access audio and video content
  • A notebook or digital note-taking tool (optional, for personal learning)
  • Access to the course platform (login credentials provided after registration)

Certificate

  • A Certificate of Completion is issued at the end of the training, provided that the learning path has been completed and, where applicable, the knowledge assessment has been successfully passed.
  • Downloading the certificate is also conditional upon completing the course evaluation regarding the participant’s overall assessment of the training.
  • Once the evaluation has been submitted, the certificate can be downloaded in PDF format. It remains accessible at all times from the “My Courses” section for future downloads. Participants may also contact the support team to request an additional copy.
  • Certificates are retained in our records for a period of six years, or for the applicable validity period of the certificate or awarded credits, as the case may be.
